Users can lend their crypto and get a return when others borrow it. The rates of return look reasonable, nothing too outrageous, like is promised on other platforms.

Other functions include the ability to swap, stake and claim rewards.

The volume on the platform is small in the big picture, but is still enough to show that there is interest.

I cannot give it 5 stars since I haven't actually used it. But I really like what I see so far. There is no artificial hype or ridiculous rates of return. Just a very pragmatic platform.

My only criticism is that Optimism is a Level 2 solution on Ethereum. I'm not a fan of Ethereum and L2 solutions.

I like this project, but Sonne Finance is a complete fork of Compound V2. Consequently, their security is at the highest level, and the idea is the same. That is why I'm giving it only 4 stars. I checked their smart contracts with 'diffchecker,' and I was surprised to find that their code is completely identical, ha-ha. Of course, I knew Sonne is a fork, but I didn't realize it was possible to take every piece of code without any changes and sell it as a new project. However, as we can see, Sonne Finance has succeeded in doing just that ahah.

As I mentioned, the idea behind Sonne Finance is the same as that of Compound V2, where users can supply collateral and earn interest on it. If they want, they can borrow different assets against their collateral. The idea is really simple and successful.
