Partnership between Nillion and Aptos

Nillion is integrating with Aptos to enhance privacy features on the Move-based blockchain platform. This integration will bring encrypted data storage and Blind Computation to Move-based smart contracts, enabling privacy-preserving applications across various sectors. This marks Nillion's first non-EVM project.

Key Points:

Move Programming Language:** Initially created for the Diem blockchain, Move offers resource-oriented programming, formal verification, and a modular system, enhancing security and efficiency.
Aptos' Parallel Execution Engine:** Aptos can process up to 160,000 transactions per second in testnet environments.
Nillion's Privacy Features:** These include private storage and computation capabilities, expanding Move's potential for transactional privacy and enabling secure handling of confidential information.

Nillion ($NIL) is developing a solution to decentralized data privacy, which can be used for the integration of AI and for combating the “data wars” that we are fighting against big tech and black box centralized entities.

Its “data orchestration layer” will attempt to break the siloes of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) such as ZK-Proofs, LSSS, FHE, Multisigs, etc. allowing them to work together using “blind computation,” enabling these technologies to maintain data privacy in a decentralized manner.

This has never been the prime focus of any other project I’ve ever seen - it hits the top rating as the only solution to recognize the need to solve this problem, an absolutely critical dimension of security that needs to be addressed as our integration, advancement, and further symbiosis with AI continues to grow.

I have to credit the optimism of Nillion’s founders, and massive vision. This is a good project, fundamentally. I believe these are smart people who know what they’re doing. It’s always later when potential problems can arise, during their token distribution, funding rounds etc.
