Probably a 6/10. The marketing is not great at first glance. There's a lot of incomprehensible garble on the main page, making it difficult to tell it apart from any other useless fork. But there's a couple of things that peaked my interest, making me want to dig deeper if I get the time.

Positive:

They seem to have developed a blockchain based phone, which would be pretty interesting to learn more about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWQ10vRspac&ab_channel=FunctionX

They show analytics on their homepage which can give you an idea of activity, growth and scale on their chain: https://explorer.functionx.io/datas

Their derivatives page clearly illustrates a huge opportunity and what they could do in that field: https://functionx.io/derivatives



Social Media: They seem to have some following, but it's mostly just the DEVs making announcements. They don't seem to buy traffic, which deserves props (You can tell because their follower numbers don't seem inflated like most other projects). They make an effort producing a lot of content, but it's hit and miss.

Negative:
Homepage and message overall is a bit chaotic. They seem to want to do and be everything at the same time.

In summary, there's some stuff that peaked my interest and I'd try dig a little deeper if I get the time. Maybe I'd follow the project's statistics page to see if there's any pick up in activity.
