Seems to be a serious approach at a DAO with very big partners including Peter Thiel and Pantera, and with SushiSwap DAO helping them with contract and security design. But the website falls well short for me to give them above 3 stars. DAOs carry huge risks, not least of which the security risks that their contracts could be hacked and money stolen. Centralization can also be a big risk and BitDAO doesn't do anything to show you who owns how many tokens. They say almost nothing about their initiatives except showing a couple other DAOs. It's an extremely limited website that does nothing to make me want to explore more. There's a good chance that those big partners just moved their existing funds into this DAO which they still have full control over, in the hopes that small investors FOMO in and give them their money, while still remaining over the founders control.
