This looks like a project to rope Africans into the banking (debt) system and serve as an onramp for CBDCs.

This is a quote from the bottom of their banking page: "Bank the unbanked, support the growth of small businesses and ensure prosperity for all. "

Whenever a project wants to "bank the unbanked," that's NOT a good thing. If you don't believe me, do some research on what the banking system is, how it was formed, and what it actually does. I think that will give you a whole new perspective on how the world works.

In addition, they say that their platform provides banking without the middleman. This is not true, a bank is a middleman to people accessing their money.

They have a very solid deck. Easy to understand, well designed and clear opportunity. The project is beyond the idea stage with an MVP and lots of meaningful partnerships signed, which is rare to see these days. Platforms that facilitate trading are among the most profitable in crypto, so this is an exciting opportunity. If they can enable trading of assets that can't be traded anywhere else, like raw materials for example, then they should be able to attract a good user bae, especially if their app is well designed. But since they've designed everything else pretty well, I trust that they can design a good MVP as well. In summary, there's not much I'm missing with this projects. Wouldn't mind asking them more detailed questions in person.

We are almost ending 2023, and they projected more than $11M of revenues, can we see revenues to date (actual numbers, not projections). Can we see CAC and LTV unit economics based on actual numbers compared to industry standard?

It is good to see the partnership with Meld.finance, but are they really partnering, or is Meld just a service providers? I've said that many times before some entrepreneurs tend to list their suppliers as partners... it's not because I drive a Toyota, that Toyota is my partner.
