I'm writing a simple tutorial on how to start digging into the vast ocean of the world wide web. The focus is to discover about new Web3 projects that are out of the radar of Most people but not for Big Funds and Insiders.
- If you are already curious, go for number 3!
1 - Be Curious
- Being curious gives you the Willpower to cast the spell, the force that drives your curiosity that should start within.
2 - Test your searching skills
- Test something other than google. Go to chatgpt and other engines that start multiple searching engines for you.
- Don't be afraid of look lazy if the end goal is to find gems and meaningful things or just good projects to invest.
Now things really starts!
3 - Crunchbase
-
This is one, if not the best, place to look for new investments in Web3.
-
From Crunchbase I discovered that this month there was an astounding $6.6 Bi in funding for OpenAI!
-
Also, I learned that the VC rounds are not that great for overall markets But it was Awesome for Web3 and AI.
-
On Crunchbase you can select which Investors/Investment Funds to track, filter in a vast array of definitions.
-
Due to the half billion of Praxis, I was looking for things related to it.
-
Meaning I was searching for the possible web3 infrastructure being picked for the Next Generation of CITIES.
-
For that, I've been following Balaji and what shenanigan he's been doing!
4 - Cryptorank
- Pro: This is a "web3 specialized Crunchbase" and this says all. It has Crypto as it's core so you don't need to filter a lot.
- Con: This you'll lose the overall picture of the world.
- Our mission is to Post something new on Cyrator while checking new projects that are aligned with your passions!
The web of the destiny and all the destinations are waiting for you.
