Excited to share my first published opinion piece, written together with Knut, our CTO, and Alex, our Lead Architect:

We should be building cross-chain solutions as if consensus mechanisms are unnecessary - because they are.

While consensus is crucial for blockchain security, applying it to interoperability introduces inefficiencies and unnecessary costs.

Over-collateralization, misrepresented metrics, and non-deterministic data are just a few of the issues plaguing current solutions.

It’s time to move beyond consensus and embrace smarter, more efficient methods for connecting blockchains - methods that unlock new levels of innovation and composability.
