Jason Teautsch is the co-founder and CEO of Truebit. Jason is a mathematician and computer scientist who specializes in distributed systems security, game theory and algorithmic randomness. He has published numerous papers on blockchain scaling and consensus algorithms and actually helped Vitalik to build Ethereum in the early days of the project.
Christen Reitwiessner is the other co-founder of Truebit and is a prominent figure in the Ethereum community. He was also one of the co-founders of the Ethereum project alongside Vitalik, and is the mastermind that led a team in creating the programming language Solidity, which is the primary language on Ethereum amongst other private blockchains. Reitwiessner is a renowned expert in the blockchain industry and is regarded very highly.
Greg Hysen is a former senior engineer at Google and has expertise in distributed systems and cryptography. He is a valuable addition to the Truebit team, bringing extensive knowledge of scaling distributed systems.
It is also worth noting that Vitalik himself (Founder of Ethereum) and Fred Ehrsam (co-founder of Coinbase) are advisors to this project.
From a developers and intelligence point of view this is what I would call a dream team. But in my opinion they need to bolster the team in other areas outside of the developing and technology sides and appoint some more business/marketing minded people to make the project more known to the world and to help with its community growth.
