I've been closely following the progress of the RON project and I must say that I'm not impressed with what I've seen so far. Despite the team's efforts, it seems that the project is lagging behind its roadmap goals and is not making the progress that I would have expected given the resources and experience of the development team. I have also noticed that the project has struggled to maintain the level of success it achieved with Axie Infinity. This raises questions about the long-term viability of the project and its ability to deliver on its promises.
Compared to other projects in the same space, RON seems to be progressing at a much slower pace. While some of this can be attributed to the complexity of the project, it is also clear that the development team is facing significant challenges. The lack of progress is a cause for concern, as it suggests that the project may not have what it takes to compete in a crowded and rapidly evolving market.
The documentations available on their website are pretty old and do not cover much of the technical details. Their website https://bridge.roninchain.com/ does not have a Whitepaper section after all these years which can be construed as a red flag. However after some digging, I was able to find an old version of their Whitepaper, link below for everyone's reference : https://docs.roninchain.com/docs/intro/whitepaper
In conclusion, my assessment of the progress of the RON project is not a positive one. Despite its efforts, the project is not making the progress that I would expect given the resources and experience of the development team. I believe that the project is facing significant challenges and would need a few breakout success stories like Axie Infinity to get itself back in the game and I wish their team all the best for the future.
