The project concept would probably have been popular enough in early 2021 when NBA Topshots took over the niche. There are two major differences that determine MovieShots' minimal chance of long-term success:
- During the NBA Topshots hype, there was no historical data to show that these NFTs were useless, so the project gained as quickly as possible a critical mass of users to speculate on.
- MovieShots has no major backing like Flow blockchain and Dapper Labs, the main catalyst of the NFT hype.
Considering the sales conducted months ago(screenshots attached), Market Validation was simply unsuccessful.
What is good:
- The team mentioned Financials in their deck. Would be interesting to know how this financial model was built and what their revenue projections are based on. Show Less
