Yet another L2 that launched on Ethereum competing against the likes of Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon. What's the difference?
Mantle is different from other L2s simply with their emphasis of building a strong and extensive ecosystem, with an inherited $3.6 in treasury and a $200m eco fund, whilst providing all tools and resources developers/teams require, that greatly improves user experience and onboarding of users/products.
For those unfamiliar, Mantle recently rebranded and converted $BIT tokens into their own token, $MNT via BIT-21, which was the rebranding and merging of the governance (BitDAO) and product (Mantle) arms of the BIT ecosystem, and allows a 'one brand, one token' principle with everything under the Mantle brand.
There were more than 600k unique wallets that processed millions of transactions and managed to onboard thousands of developers during testnet.
Mantle also has an extremely strong core team of people on their projects team, that makes sure that projects that are launching on Mantle are high quality projects instead of random projects. They currently have 91 dApps, and more projects are expected to be launched/onboarded in the coming weeks. Show Less
