I Think Bittensor Could be the Next ETH or BTC - This Video Convinced Me

I really like it when projects are able to explain how their technology works in a way that normal people can understand it. This video does that for me. Most crypto projects do the opposite. They make their whitepapers and websites confusing on purpose, so it sounds like they're doing something smart without giving any real details. Most of them won't have any YouTube videos where they attempt to explain what they do, why it's important and how they do it. Having a down to earth video, explaining exactly what problem they solve and how they solve it, is an absolute must for me to invest serious amounts into any project. Of course, some project might do well temporarily because they're able to generate some hype, and I play with those as well but with much smaller amounts.

Long term I look for projects that have game changing technology that will outlast a single crypto cycle and provide real benefit to humanity.

Short summary:

  • Centralized AI has limitations. Mainly, they're developed in silos that don't cooperate with each other. They don't share information or technology
  • TAO enables a decentralized AI model where any scientist or AI developer can contribute and use the networks computing power to run their models. It's like a massive open source AI computer that's available to anyone.
  • An interesting bit is that Bitcoin's computing power is stronger than the 5 biggest super computer's combined. This demonstrates that decentralized computing networks are more than capable to power large AIs, which is what TAO is aiming to be.
  • TAO has a uniuqe consensus model which allows the network to assess the quality of the output from different models

I've just done some research and TAO's tokenomics are also amazing. They've copied BTC 1:1. So it's a fairlaunch with 21M tokens and halving every 4 years. Currently 1 TAO is emitted every 12 seconds and the first halving will be in late 2025. I will make a more detailed post on it's tokenomics soon.

Non of this is financial advice! Just me sharing my opinions. I hold a large bag of TAO. Show Less
