HEX

$HEX

HEX is one of the most influential protocols in the history of the blockchain. Along with its controversial founder Richard Heart, HEX has helped to popularize DeFi, & the power of time-locking tokens for yield, commonly referred to as "staking".

The token itself is immutable & has been operating flawlessly since launch, with 100% uptime. Its also a permission-less protocol, that can be accessed & run by anyone on Earth.

Users generate yield in additional HEX by locking up their tokens for an arbitrary amount of time, completely determined by each user. But, if users end their stake early, they are penalized & lose a portion of their holdings based on the length until the end stake date.

The token is also live on both Ethereum & PulseChain (Richard Heart's Ethereum system state fork, EVM chain).

While I am a fan & hold HEX personally, I recognize that HEX is far from perfect due to its inflationary nature, high fees to stake/unstake on Ethereum, centralization of ownership, & eccentric founder who has alienated himself & his community from the rest of crypto.

If RH defeats the SEC case, HEXicans could see wild returns once again, but if & when that happens, no one knows. Show Less
