I hate meme coins, but I don't hate the Gummy meme coin from the Crypto Banter YouTube show. I hate meme coin because you never know who's gonna rug pull you with anonymous teams. However, in the case of Gummy's, the team is know but they didn't allocate tokens to themselves, they farmed like everyone else. Although, we can't exclude the use of wallet swarms.
Regardless, there is currently more than 30K holders. I did farm the token pre-launch was able to get a small airdrop which has doubled in the last 24 hours, so I guess I'm not disappointed. Regardless, there are a lot of crypto traders on the Crypto Banter's team, which mean that I'm sure they will be active at trading it, so the token is likely to behave nicely from a Technical Analysis/chart perspective.
I doubt it will grow past the $1B market cap, although I could be surprised, meanwhile, I think it will be relatively easy to trade it to accumulate a decent return which is likely what I'll be doing. Otherwise, it may also be a good token to do some yield farming or market making.
Good crypto projects are more and more frontrun by institutional investors, and once the tokens are launched they already have $10B+ market cap and then retail users get dumped on their head by the VC's. At least with a meme coin, they are repulsive enough that most VC won't touch them, so we have a chance to still frontrun institutions until the point that a rebranding could be on the table to add a bit more legitimacy to these tokens.
