GMX was my first DEX trading experience in Summer 2022, and along with it came what I thought was a fairly expensive lesson in how not to trade with leverage. This moderately painful L turned out to be a massively profitable W when, to my surprise, my degen activity racked up an ARB airdrop allocation six months later that was worth more than 8x the value of the bag I lost on the exchange! The lesson here is that it's never ok to degen to zero.
