Farmsent

$FARMS

Whitepaper opening statement: "In the agricultural industry, farmers receive less than 10% of the total value of the product. The middlemen take the bulk of the profit since they are at the end of the supply chain, paying the farmers only a minimum wage for their labor."

Farmsent aims to cut out the middlemen between farmers and consumers. It's a good business model with lots of successful Web2 solutions on a small scale. They've raised over $500K, released an alpha, launched a token and onboarded 160K Indonesian Farmers, so the project is beyond idea stage - which I like.

But without being able to access the alpha, it still feels quite abstract and I'd have to dive deep into the Whitepaper to understand how well their tech and tokenomics are developed and what is their competitive advantage beyond the simple idea. Seeing the actual app or describing a couple of case studies of how food went directly from farmer to consumer would be very helpful and might earn them 5 stars. Show Less
