I would give 1 stars if I didn't know the founders. The concept isn't clear and while their tokenomics sound great, it isn't clear if their minting is trustless.

Since I know and trust the founders, I'm giving it 2 stars. I like the idea of investing in creators and curating content through staking. If their presentation is improved I could give a better rating.

What I like:

  • Good design that fits the model
  • Fair tokenomics
  • Lightpaper structure is good, but copy needs to be way clearer

What I don't like:

  • Website doesn't say what the project is and how it works. Within 5 min of scrolling the hompage, I want to know how fans earn, how influencers earn, how the mechanics work, see an MVP screenshot and the launch date.

  • YouTube video needs sound

  • I don't understand this Lightpaper sentence: "Fanance is introducing a novel web3 economy to financially reward fans by allowing them to financially support the growing popularity of their favorite creators." Why not say "Fanance allows fans to invest in creators and profit from their success. The earlier you invest the more you earn". I would lead with that, followed by how it works and then explaining their unique tokenomics. Show Less
