Finally, an easy to use product that does what it says on the tin.
Introducing Elusiv, an app which allows for private token swaps on Solana. The beta app was launched on 22 August 2023 and it works like a dream.
Conventional blockchain-based payments not only reveal the public identities of the sender and receiver but also enable anyone to track the complete transaction history associated with a specific public key. Using zk-SNARKS for privacy, Elusiv's goal is to disrupt this direct connection between senders and receivers, allowing users to swap between assets while hiding their portfolio, trading strategies, and history from others.
To swap privately, you need to have the token you want to swap in your private balance in your SOL wallet or ledger. You will need some SOL (at least 0.005) for fees. After your private balance is topped up, you can initiate a private swap. Just choose the token type and amount you want to buy/sell and click the swap button. Swaps usually take about 1.5 minutes. I tried this and it worked quickly and easily (see photos).
