The Darwinia Network is running on the Polkadot relay chain and is built on Substrate. It's a decentralized heterogeneous cross-chain bridge protocol that makes it easy to transfer tokens cross-chain as well as upgrade single-chain tokens to become cross-chain ones. It's a very nice project, however I'm a little confused with how their tech works compared with other cross-chain solutions, their website doesn't help too much when explaining to a beginner.
