What is Common Wealth? "Investment as a service."
By building investment funds on-chain they open up the possibility to for everyone to participate. Each fund with have its own theme and will invest in a multitude of projects with 1 fund.
Your USDC investment becomes a NFT and these are tradable on the second market. And they want to give you the ability to fractionalize the NFTs in multiple smaller pieces so you could also sell only parts of it. Very interesting system to start with.
They add some complexity with their own token, which you need to stake to get discount on the fee they charge. Their Baselevel is 50% after return of your initial investment. If you stake 25% of the total value in Wealth Token you get a discount up to 10% fee. Which in my opinion is still a little bit on the high side.
The legal framework wasn't completed yet so I do hope they find a legal wrapper for this setup, as I do think that there will be a wish for a project like this. Time will tell if people think its worth that fee or not. They will not deduct any cost before your initial investment is back. Show Less
