great utility coming from the Oracle feature. It enables smart contract to fetch data feed from an Oracle from Chainlink. This makes building complex web3 architecture much more easy and dynamic. New versions of DEXes such as Uniswap V3 contains historical price datafeed such that we no longer need Oracles, however the code base may not migrate well across different exchange, so Oracles are still useful to make code more standard across many exchanges.
