The BAT community is decent and there appears to be an upward trajectory. This is positive for the project, but not overwhelmingly so.

First let's start with use among creators. There are approximately 2M creators setup to accept BAT from content consumers across multiple platforms. The biggest use is on YouTube. So there is some interest here.

Next are the daily and monthly active users. Keep in mind that this is people using the Brave Browser and not necessarily earning or transacting in BAT. You can use the browser without collecting BAT. The daily active users is growing slowly and I feel is the more important metric.

Finally, let's take a look at their socials:

  • Twitter: 272.2K followers, less than 1 tweet per day average
  • Reddit: 88.7K members, fairly active

I'm not totally sold on the BAT project on the whole, but they do have a decent community and a solid use case. Show Less
