Revolut releases mobile crypto exchange app Revolut X for UK and European Economic Area users

Revolut, a London-based fintech company valued at $45 billion with over 45 million users worldwide, has launched a mobile app for its crypto exchange, Revolut X, targeting users in the UK and European Economic Area (EEA) across 30 markets. The app, announced in a Tuesday press release on March 25, 2025, allows customers to trade over 400 crypto pairs and more than 220 digital tokens. Initially launched as a desktop platform for professional traders in November 2024, Revolut X has now expanded to a mobile version accessible to all Revolut account holders in these regions. The app aims to provide a secure and user-friendly trading experience for both new and seasoned traders. Revolut, which began offering crypto services in 2017, also provides staking (since June 2023) and a card that converts crypto to fiat for payments.
