JUST IN: Department of Justice cleared to sell $6.5b in seized Silk Road Bitcoin!

This sucks. The US Govt just got the permission to liquidate 69,000 BTC, (Had to be 69?) worth around $6.5B, from Silk Road. The decision came in on the 30th of December and was decided on because of Bitcoin's "price volatility". This very much sucks and is "Not a very peaceful transition of power by the current admin" as stated by members of the crypto community.

Some people even speculated that the recent spike in Bitcoin was due to insiders knowing this was coming. If that is the case that is PURE desperation!

Welp that ruined my day. Show Less
