Near Protocol introduced its new crosschain AI Assistant during the Redacted conference in Bangkok, showcasing its ability to perform various tasks such as launching memecoins, searching the web for products, and even booking flights and ordering takeout in the future.

Co-founder Illia Polusukhin demonstrated the AI Assistant's capabilities by creating a Frog memecoin with a backstory, website, and logo, and instantly launching it on Near's version of Pump.fun.

The AI Assistant can also search for custom T-shirt printers and create a mock website interface for easier selection and purchase of Near merchandise.

Near's AI Assistant stands out with its chain abstraction technology, allowing users to swap assets across different blockchains simply by signing a transaction, making it possible to connect any chain using any wallet and enabling Web2 shopping. Show Less
